What are the 3 phases of the Humanity Protocol testnet?

Humanity Protocol's testnet rollout is divided into three key phases:

  1. Human ID Reservation (Phase 1): Users can reserve their unique Human ID, which will serve as their identity across the Humanity Protocol ecosystem. This ID is permanent and verifiable, making it central to all future interactions within the network.

  2. Enrolment via App (Phase 2): Slated to launch in October, Phase 2 introduces a mobile app allowing users to register their palm print for additional verification. This biometric step enhances privacy and security without revealing sensitive personal information. This phase will open to users in batches, prioritizing those who have referred the most people.

  3. Full Activation via Palm Vein Verification (Phase 3): The final phase involves full biometric verification via palm vein scanning. This process is more secure than palm prints alone and ensures a high level of fraud prevention. Once users complete this phase, they can fully unlock their rewards, including airdrops, and continue earning through referrals and daily rewards.

How Do I Receive My Referral Link?

There are two ways to share your referral link:

  1. Visit to receive your unique referral link that can be shared with others.

  2. Provide your Human ID for someone to input during their sign up process.

How can I claim my Genesis rewards?

Genesis rewards and daily rewards will be claimable once you secure your Human ID, but you'll only be able to redeem them after completing all three phases of the testnet.

Referring friends increases your rewards.

Is my Humanity Protocol wallet custodial or non-custodial?

If you connect your own wallet, it will be non-custodial, meaning you control it. For other login methods, testnet wallets are custodial, managed within the Humanity Protocol platform.

Are HP tokens different from tHP tokens?

Yes.

HP tokens are the utility tokens used on mainnet, serving purposes like governance, staking rewards, and validating VCs by the ZKProofers. These tokens will become available once the protocol transitions from testnet to mainnet.

On the testnet, tHP tokens are utilized. While tHP operates similarly to HP, it is exclusive to testnet activities and helps users engage with the system during its testing phase.

Can I still refer people during Phases 2 and 3?

Yes! Referrals are encouraged throughout all phases. Your referral link will remain active, and referring others at any stage increases your rewards in perpetuity. The earlier you refer, the more benefits you can secure.

Anyone!

You can secure your Human ID today by visiting testnet.humanity.org, serving as your unique identity across the Humanity Protocol ecosystem. Be sure to share your referral link with friends and family to earn rewards in perpetuity.

What rewards can I expect after completing all three phases?

After completing each step of the three phases, you'll unlock ongoing rewards, including airdrops and referral bonuses along the way. Referrers will earn 50% of all testnet token rewards generated by their referrals.
